Q. What movie will be playing on (insert date here)?

A. We book movies on Monday, on a  week to week basis so we can get the best possible film for that that week.  Sometimes when we request a certain movie, the movie company feels that our theatre will not make enough money for them so they will not release it to us on opening weekend.  We might be able to pick it up after it has been out for a couple of weeks.

Q. Why do we have to play some movies so long?

A. When we book a film on the opening day of the movie we have to enter into a contract with the film studio that tells us how long we have to play a certain film. The contract length can vary from two weeks to four weeks. When we book a movie that is a few weeks old (usually in the off season) the contract is typically one week.

Q.  How can we advertise our business on the "Big Screen"?

A. Your customers are in our theaters!  We are  pleased to offer local businesses the opportunity to advertise on our interactive audio-slide presentation program before the features!  Please 989-362-7298 for details.

Q.  Why do we prohibit customers from bring in outside food?

A. The reason for this is that much of the admission revenue goes to the film distributor and studio for film rental. On certain "blockbuster" films, this rental rate can be quite high, and is based on gross box office receipts, not net profits. That leaves concession revenue to cover a significant portion of the operating cost of the theatre. At the Family Theatre, however, we do strive to keep prices low to provide a family a fun night  that won't dent your wallet as much as the multi-plex theatre.
