Thank you for visiting our website.

Tawas Family Theatre is a locally owned movie theater in a cozy, quaint space in downtown East Tawas.

We have two screens to offer moviegoers a choice of current releases. Cinema 1 holds 128 patrons and Cinema 2 can accomodate 98.

All of our sound was updated in the Spring of 2025 and at that time we resurfaced the floors and installed brand new seating in the center of the cinemas for best viewing!

In addition, we have a wide variety of concessions including freshly popped popcorn, cold soft drinks (Coke Products), monthly Slush Puppies flavors, Nutty Bavarian Fresh Cinnamon Roasted Nuts and a popular assortment of candy.

Our prices are extremely affordable. A family can enjoy a night at the movies, including concessions, without having to break the bank.
