Tawas Family Theatre is a locally owned movie theater in a cozy, quaint space in downtown East Tawas.

We have two screens to offer moviegoers a choice of current releases. In addition, we have a wide variety of concessions including freshly popped popcorn, cold soft drinks, Monthly Slush Puppies Flavors, Nutty Bavarian Fresh Roasted Nuts and a popular assortment of candy.

Our prices are extremely affordable. A family can enjoy a night at the movies, including concessions, without having to break the bank.

Patron Health & Comfort Measures

There are hand sanitizers in both bathrooms and in the lobby. We sanitize each cinema with natural Bioesque disinfectant spray. High touch areas and bathrooms are sprayed and wiped often throughout the evening. The cinemas are fitted with fresh air exchange ventilation and will be used intermittenly throughout the movies.
